CINEMA IN SUDAN: CONVERSATIONS WITH GADALLA GUBARA
Frederique Cifuentes engages the public from the first image of her film. Gadalla Gubara is an intriguing character dressed in traditional garb with dark glasses and a very direct talk about the cultural scenario of his native Sudan. Mr. Gubara is one of Sudan's most important filmmakers. He reveals to us a Sudan mysterious and misunderstood, a country with an unexploited reservoir of stories that go beyond the regular news we have about this country.
